OSA is a non-profit organization that promotes technology and open source software culture in Azerbaijan. Our goal is to promote a culture of collective work by establishing effective communication channels between developers and to lead the development of socially beneficial IT solutions. As an organization, one of our main goals is to understand the technology needs of institutions working for the benefit of society and to produce projects to meet these needs.Today, it is quite possible to start open source software projects on platforms such as GitHub and contribute to existing projects. These opportunities have emerged as a result of years of efforts by software foundations such as Mozilla, Linux Foundation, Apache Foundation, Cloud Native Computing Foundation. By organizing online events and workshops for our members, we strive to promote knowledge sharing and enable everyone to take an active role in the world of technology. Open Source Azerbaijan aims to spread open source solutions to the wider society and thus provide a more equitable access to technology.
